This is the time of year when I start to look for inspiration for upcoming paintings and projects. I sometimes get stuck in a rut and have to get my brain going on something inspiring to get the good thoughts flowing. I seldom if ever find a lack of inspiration with old tractors and trucks. Here is a nice example of an inspired, orange, hand cranked, iron tired, beast of burden, that worked hard, and has been restored to majestic brilliance. A very good example of an Alice Chalmers.
I may not end up painting a tractor, but the image will get my brain happy so I can move on to the next painting happy, hopeful, and ready to use some cad orange.
